“Donors are a strong driving force behind breakthroughs in pediatric care at BC Children’s Hospital,” said Berry. “Choices Lottery funds advance that progress, helping medical experts deliver better care and outcomes for kids and families across BC, the Yukon and beyond.”
About BC Children’s Hospital Foundation
BC Children’s is the only hospital in the province devoted exclusively to children. As one of the world’s top-ranked pediatric hospitals, it leads the way in confronting many of the most pressing health challenges facing kids today—from cancer to heart disease and brain health.
They have a secret tool in this quest: an on-site Research Institute. Over 2,000 research professionals tirelessly work to understand the origins of illnesses, develop groundbreaking treatments and move closer to cures. As 70% of researchers are also health care professionals providing care in the hospital, life-changing discoveries can be brought from the laboratory bench straight to a child’s bedside faster and more efficiently.
Your support plays a pivotal role in accelerating the translation of these discoveries. And beyond propelling this work, your contribution also empowers researchers to dream even bigger. Thank you for shaping the future of children’s health care.
